Printing on Clothing

Printing on Clothing

Printing clothes can be done in different ways. one talks about Flex Print, Flock Print, Silkscreen, Transfer Print, Sublimation Print

Flex printing is widely used

Flex printing (Lettering).

Flex is a material that is especially suitable for printing at low numbers. The material is cut on a cutter and manually 'peeled out'. The transfer is then applied to textiles using a heat press. This makes the adhesive layer active and gives a very good adhesion to your textile. Flex transfers feel a bit 'rubbery'. When you watch a football game on television you can see that even most football shirts are printed by this method. It is not possible to use color gradients or grids with Flex transfers. With this technique it is possible to print a different name, text, image or number per shirt.

Flex is vinyl, especially suitable for 1-color logos, or for items of a personal nature, such as making names and (back) numbers.

These are available in many colors and designs.

Flock printing is a velor / velvet-like fabric, which is used the same as the flex.

Full color on Transfer

On a transfer paper Usually A4 or Letter size is mirror printed with toner. The entire print is on a transparent adhesive layer, which is also printed on the shirt via a heat press.

Usually these are printed on white shirts (not on dark shirst). Light shades are sometimes also possible. This is a cheaper way of printing, think about 10 euros p shirt (Inkl t-shirt)
